Nine Lives Rescue was founded by Aryn Pearsall and Chelsea Winter with a singular, urgent mission: to serve as a safety net for New Mexico’s most vulnerable cats. Driven by the belief that every life is worth fighting for, our organization focuses on rescuing cats currently on euthanasia lists across the state.

We specialize in high-stakes medical cases that often lead to cats being overlooked in traditional shelters. From complex surgeries like amputations and enucleations to the management of chronic illnesses and severe injuries, we step in when others cannot. At Nine Lives Rescue, we provide the specialized veterinary care and dedicated rehabilitation these resilient animals need to heal, thrive, and eventually find their forever homes.

Beyond rescue and rehabilitation, we are committed to long-term solutions for our community. We firmly believe in the power of TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) to humanely manage cat populations and improve the lives of community cats across the state.
